Pappy's Fun Club/Laura Solon archivePappy's Fun Club are Britain's best new sketch troupe. At the 2007 Edinburgh Festival they earned an if.comedy nomination for Best Show. This led to appearances on BBC3's Comedy Shuffle, Radio 1's Switch, ITV's Comedy Cuts and a half-hour special for Channel 4 last autumn. Laura Solon exploded into public consciousness at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe with her sensational debut show. She played to sell-out crowds and received glowing reviews for her writing and performance, and became only the second woman ever to win the original Perrier Award. She is now undeniably one of the rising stars of the comedy world.
