Before Patrick was a national celebrity he first rose to prominence as one of the country's most exciting and challenging stand-up comedians. Born in Belfast, he first took to the stage in the early nineties and soon became renowned as the regions most fearless and respected comedy voice. Now, after hosting five series of Patrick Kielty Almost Live for BBC 1, Fame Academy and Celebrity Love Island, Patrick is returning to the stage with a full-length brand new show. TV hasn't tamed this man - he is still one of the funniest comedians you will ever see. A chance to see work in progress from the Irish stand up who began his career as host of Belfast's Empire Comedy Club in pre-ceasefire Northern Ireland. Last seen fronting his own 'One Night Stand' for Dave and topping the bill for a second time on "Live at The Apollo", he also fronts the "BBC New Comedy Award" on Radio 2 where he is a regular host.
