Borderline Racist - T01577399555His new show is a stand-up multimedia show that played to full houses throughout 2010’s Edinburgh Festival. Paul was fascinated to discover that the Dutch think Germans are bicycle-thieves, Latvians swear in Russian, and Serbs think Croatians are backward illiterates but with good films. So he set out to discover what every world nation thinks of their neighbours via jokes, anecdotes and genuinely-researched mild xenophobia. The show, coming to Farnham Maltings on Friday 18th February, includes the ending of the ‘A Pole, a German, and a Russian’ joke, and why Albanian travel adverts say: “Come travel to Albania, your car has already arrived.” | |
