Details
Following the success of his debut in 2015 critically acclaimed writer and comedian Peter Brush returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a second solo hour show. Join Peter, BBC New Comedy Award finalist and writer for BBC Radio 4's New Quiz, for an hilarious hour on dreams, nostalgia, terrorism, The Muppets, the difficulties of dog breeding, and emancipating an octopus from human oppression. Peter has something for everyone, including a joke about a banana which hasn't worked for three years. Some of us never learn, do we? When Peter was a child he used to have dreams about time travel, magic, and playing football for Wales. He thought anything was possible (he's not even welsh). What an idiot. Now Peter dreams about his car being stolen, loved ones leaving him, council tax, and recently Peter's dreams come with advert breaks for home insurance. Today, Peter is more realistic about expectations but sometimes he wishes he was still that idiot.
