Rhys Darby archiveNew Zealand comic, Murray from Flight of the Conchords. Rhys’ stand-up has been described as a sensational blend of sound effects, characterisations and askew observations. His quirky, unique style of physical storytelling, whimsical tales peppered with sound effects has wowed audiences from Iceland to Australia, Bahrain to the Falkland Islands including every major international comedy festival on the planet. He truly is one of a kind. An ex-soldier in the New Zealand Army and a veteran of ten years as a stand-up comedian, Darby made his feature film debut alongside Jim Carrey in Yes Man. He then went on to feature as one of the DJ's in Richard Curtis' current film, The Boat that Rocked.
