Production details

A native of Dublin, Sean Hughes was the youngest winner of the Perrier Award for Comedy at the Edinburgh Festival. He has gone on to perform in critically acclaimed TV series such as BBC 2's 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks' and Channel 4's 'The Last Detective'. He is the best-selling author of 'Sean's Book' and 'The Grey Area', collections of poems and short stories and witty autobiographical pieces, and two novels - 'The Detainees' - a tale of unimaginable revenge on a returning tormentor, and 'It's What He Would Have Wanted' - a narrative comedy of secrets, sex and bad weather.
