Following two years of sell out shows at the Fringe, St George's Medics Revue is making its first stop on the road to Edinburgh at The King's Head Theatre for a one night only taster show! Watch as the doctors of tomorrow cast off their training stethoscopes and flash cards to give you a night of slick fast paced sketch show with a NICE recommended dose of doctors' humour. Expect off the wall gags, surreal characters and uplifting songs, as they paint for you a terrifying portrait of your future NHS! As every year the company writes and rehearses the Edinburgh show only two weeks before they perform, on the 13th they'll be presenting an entirely unique selection of sketches old and new to give you a taste of what they're about. From St George's Medical School in Tooting, the society has been going to the Fringe for over thirteen years. They may be fresh faced students but don't expect the usual standard of student comedy. Described as 'madcap', 'irreverent' and 'not to be missed', these scrubs-clad docs in waiting are the hot ticket on the mile every year, and well worth a fiver.
