Tom Allen is a Winner of the coveted So You Think You're Funny in Edinburgh and the BBC New Comedy gong in the same year.He grew up in London but he wants to know where he is from so he goes on a research trip to Ireland...and so do his parents. This show is packed with serenely hilarious tales of family adventures as he discovers his true roots. A tale follows full of family history, shocks and scandals, personal identity and his Mum. The show will be full of Tom’s trademark style, always poised and immaculately turned out, and his elegant brand of storytelling, which is whimsical, sharp and intelligent. Since winning the awards, Tom has been very busy. He has performed at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal as well as gigs in New York and Manchester’s Queer Up North festival.
