Evelina Puzaite was born and educated in Vilnius. She studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music where she won Second Prize at the Grodno Composers' Competition in Belarus and a Balkan States Scholarship to study with Joan Havill at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
