Over the years many writers and composers have portrayed the lives and loves of women through the medium of American musical theatre. This concert explores the full range of emotions, from the heartbreaking to the hysterical, taken from the shows of Stephen Sondheim, Kurt Weill and Jerry Herman through to the new generation, including Jason Robert Brown and Jeff Blumenkrantz.
