Anup Jalota, the household name for bhajans, has thought of nothing but music all his life. Born in Nainital and educated in Lucknow, he started his musical career as a chorus singer in All India Radio and now has over 1200 recordings and 4000 live concerts to his name. He sings in six different languages and is popularly known as the 'Bhajan Samraat' (Emperor of Bhajans).
