The Band of the Irish Guards, first formed in 1900, will perform a charity concert at the Chichester Festival Theatre in aid of the work of the Army Benevolent Fund. The Irish Guards are probably the premier British Army Band and as such it attracts some of the very best musicians to its ranks. The programme of music will contain well known favourites, some surprises, virtuoso pieces and a selection from the Last Night of the Proms and will close with Sunset.
