This annual concert brings together over 500 children from local schools to celebrate the art of performing in a massed choir, orchestra and dance troupe. This year's Basingstoke Primary School Festival concert, Ocean Commotion, welcomes you to the wonders of the ocean and the splendours of the sea. You will be entertained by a cast of spectacular characters, including a determined great white shark and his godson, a hard done by hammerhead shark, a very trusting bottle-nose dolphin, barnacles who sing the blues, and a whole shoal of synchronised swimming herring!

Heroes and Villains - T337808991

Over 300 singers, instrumentalists and dancers from Primary Schools in the Basingstoke area come together for a two-day extravaganza on the subject of heroes and villains. Music includes songs from Bugsy Malone and Wicked, theme tunes from Batman, Doctor Who, James Bond and Thunderbirds. Also featuring the world première of The Man with the Blue Banana, a specially commissioned piece for orchestra by jazz pianist and composer Dave Stapleton.
