Production details

This month Batmacumba features the award-winning shorts of Adelina Pontual who has worked on several Brazilian feature films including Walter Salles’ Central Station. In January 2005 she received an important award from Gilberto Gil on behalf of the Brazilian Ministry of Culture to develop her first feature film, Veio. Back in the bar resident globe-trotting DJ Cliffy is joined by Spiritual South fresh from remixing the likes of Bebel Gilberto, Da Lata and Quantic. Spring is in the air so bring on the Brazilian Beats! Bar, Cinema 2
