BBC Concert Orchestra tip its hat to Canada in a Commonwealth Day celebration at Watford Colosseum. Bringing together all its versatility and style, BBC Concert Orchestra will perform a selection of classical, film and light music from both sides of the pond. The programme includes Benjamin Britten's Canadian Carnival which is full of folk flavour including the popular Alouette; William Walton's First Symphony, a landmark in English composition; and music from Ivor Novello-winning Canadian composer Robert Farnon. Under the baton of Principal Conductor Keith Lockhart, come and see the BBC Concert Orchestra live at Watford Colosseum for a Canadian Carnival.
