Get ready for an evening of Big Band sounds from the classic VCO Big Band of Crewe, with more than 20 musicians playing trumpets, trombones, saxophones, keyboard, rhythm and percussion. All performed under the professional leadership of Geoff Seals. Many traditional favourites of the swing numbers from Glen Miller and Duke Ellington will be played, as well as other jazz numbers and Latin American. Gail Johnson and Paul Quinton are the popular vocalists with the VCO Big Band, singing both classic big band vocals as well as current hit numbers. First formed in 1982 the Band plays for both public and private engagements in venues from village halls to large theatres.
