The Big Band, established by former Goldsmith College Lecturer, Peter Lloyd, has earned a national reputation for introducing young classical musicians to jazz and Big Band styles. Their repertoire spans all the classics from Goodman, Basie, Ellington to present day composers like Herbie Hancock and Dave Grusin and includes arrangements given by the celebrated pianist/composer Stan Tracy.
