The Blind Boys of Alabama are more than a gospel group; their music is from the deepest Southern US, bearing also the roots of blues and the rich heritage of Africa. The gruelling journey from Tibet over the high Himalayas to India is one that Yunchen Lhamo made to exile in 1989. Yungchen has been touring the world ever since, performing on prestigious platforms such as the Carnegie Hall in New and London's Royal Festival Hall, and has released three acclaimed albums.
