This is an invitation to join us for the Lighthouse Big Sing, and become part of a massed choir performance of Karl Jenkins The Armed Man with the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus, players from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of BSC Music Director, Gavin Carr. The Armed Man is a powerful and compelling account into the descent into and terrible consequences of war. Set within the framework of the Christian Mass, the Armed Man is a major choral work which uses both sacred and secular texts. The Lighthouse Big Sing is for anyone who loves singing, for all ages and experience. Participants will spend the day in rehearsal, with the performance open to the public. | |
