Early in 1981, four complete strangers sat in the drawing room of a house in Fulham and were told: "you are now Bucks Fizz". In the eight weeks between that first meeting and appearing on "A Song for Europe" on 11th March 1981, Bucks Fizz were hurled into a melee of rehearsing, recording, routining, styling, interviews and photography. All that hard work and effort was to pay dividends - they went on to win the Song For Europe and Eurovision Song Contest 1981 and became household names around the world.

Remember 1981? It may be hard to believe but it was 30 years ago that a certain Royal Wedding captured the imagination of the British public and a group of four talented young performers burst onto the scene as Bucks Fizz and won the Eurovision Song Contest with "Making Your Mind Up" (with a dance routine every bit as memorable as the song itself!). Now 30 years later, we have another Royal Wedding and original group members Cheryl, Mike and Jay have re-formed as The Original Bucks Fizz to remind us all of those heady days. So after the street parties have packed up for the day, what better way to continue the celebration than to join The Original Bucks Fizz here at the Broadway to crown what we are certain will be a memorable day.
