Cesaria Evora sings morna - music of her homeland of Cape Verde and a cross between tango and blues expressing nostalgia, love and sadness. Toumani Diabate is arguably the best kora player in the world. He is a brilliant performer who has extended the traditional music for this ancient stringed instrument with superb results.
