Music from England and Russia - Includes Elgar’s popular Serenade for Strings as well as Peter Warlock’s Capriol Suite. In direct contrast is the powerful Chamber Symphony in C minor by Shostakovitch. In keeping with the orchestra’s continuing encouragement of young performers, Sale Chamber Orchestra will share the concert with young musicians.
