Direct from the London Jazz Festival this is the first national tour of Courtney Pine’s new work Europa, a mammoth, musical history charting the birth of Europe. With inspiration from Gregorian chants, the warmth of Mediterranean music and the evocative melodies of the far north, Courtney traces a series of stepping stones that lead to the sounds of today's European generations. Pine has assembled a heavyweight musical line-up that includes Zoe Rahman on Piano and Cuban violin star Omar Puente.
