Production details
From 1996 to 2002, Darren Hayman teetered on the brink of indie stardom as frontman of Hefner, the frequently brilliant bedsit indie-pop band that lit up a thousand love-torn student bedrooms. Hayman's first solo release was an EP called ‘Caravan Songs’. Themed around some deliciously sharp but warm-hearted observations of the lost world of British holidays in dusty seaside towns, it the tone for the subsequent albums 'Table For One', 'Darren Hayman & the Secondary Modern' and 'Pram Town', all of which feature oddly affecting songs about little things that say a lot.
