Eclectica - A Fusion of Folk, Jazz and Poems set to Music

T0
Dr Nevel Vassall is a popular Jamaican poet, folk singer and storyteller who performs under the name of Africamjam Poet. Harmonica player and guitarist, Nevel orates his poems to traditional Jamaican Mento music. Nevel will be telling Bre Anancy stories, singing Jamaican folk songs and reading from his books Poems Calling and Poetic Vibes. De Baruck writes and performs her own poetry, short stories and is known for her production of Caribbean Labrish. Her work celebrates the achievement of women and their struggles in society, in witty nail-biting and tongue-twisting narration. Rapture is a superb three piece Jazz fusion band based in Wolverhampton: a band that integrates elements of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Soul and Gospel to create a sound that is immediately accessible yet completely unique.
