The leader of the pack of young British musicians bursting out of the folk scene, Eliza Carthy's superb CDs Red Rice and Angels and Cigarettes have brought her a Mercury Prize nomination and a big contract with Warner Bros. A compelling live performer both on vocals and fiddle, this concert, with six-piece hand-picked band, should find her on top form.
