Production details

Four outstanding musicians in an innovative programme featuring traditional Japanese and British music as well as a fusion of the two. A new work by Gavin Bryars combines contrasting Japanese and Western instruments, while the programme also includes works by Elgar, Takemitsu, Ichiyanagi and Julian Johnson, plus traditional improvised Japanese music.
