Come Spy with Me

Ensemble, Fife’s foremost concert group, celebrate their 25th Anniversary and over 225 performances this year by presenting this especially commissioned concert by Iain Wotherspoon and David Watson. This wartime story is set in The Pirate’s Plimsoll, a tavern in the pretty south coast village of Winkling cum Flounder. Mrs. Bultitude, the tavern keeper, sets the scene for us with a fine display of hysterics. The plot unrolls with tales of hidden secret plans, village romance, espionage and treason. Can anyone be trusted? Will peace triumph in the end? What is behind the...? For the answer to these and other questions you never thought to ask, sit back and enjoy! . . . and in the second half, medleys covering musicals, operetta and the West End in a representation of all that has gone before in the first 25 years.
