91-year-old Will Atkinson is one of the all-time greats of Northumbrian music and his rare visits down south are eagerly awaited events. He is joined by Alistair Anderson, internationally acknowledged as the master of the English concertina. Also in attendance are Pauline Cato who has won countless awards for her playing of the Northumbrian pipes and is official piper to the Mayor of Gateshead; Tom McConville, a fiddle player with a flowing style, beautiful tone and flawless technique and Simon Howarth, a guitarist steeped in the music of the North East, whose playing perfectly complements that of Pauline Cato and Tom McConville.
