Hugely popular Irish folk singer, Frances Black began her career performing with her brothers and sister in The Black Family. Having completed two major tours of Ireland, songs from her solo work were included on a compilation of Irish women singers, A Women s Heart. The compilation became the biggest-selling Irish album ever, launching a national tour and a second compilation. Frances has since released her own highly successful album The Best of Frances Black, making her one of the leading new artists to emerge from Ireland in recent years.
