Mr Ken Johnson was one of the finest Soprano players of his time, a stalwart of the Brass Band movement in Yorkshire, one of the most respected Brass tutors - as can be confirmed by the evening's guest soloist Mr Richard Marshall - and a superb Musical Director. He conducted Hatfield Band during the 80s and 90s and to keep the connection, their current Musical Director, Mr Stan Lippeatt is his nephew. An evening in Ken's memory, sit back and enjoy.
