Ottone in Villa

A story of flirtation and intrigue set in the secluded gardens of a Roman Emperor’s villa and bursting with energetic and tuneful arias, Ottone in Villa sparked off Vivaldi’s hugely successful opera career. Italian Baroque ensemble Il Giardino Armonico are the players of choice for this concert, and tonight’s line-up of singers includes some of the most exciting voices in the Baroque repertoire.
