Amelia grew up in Brooklyn, New York where a beautiful southern lady insisted that she sing and play piano twice a week. Following orders, Amelia practised and excelled. Year after year she churned out long lyrical passages and fast agile runs by greats like Beethoven, Mozart, Debussy and Bach. With a focus on aural interpretations of these classics plus featured performances at Carnegie Hall, Paramount Theatre on Broadway and St. John the Divine with Marvin Hamlisch, Amelia's innate gift for music thrived.
