Production details

Jack and Charlie will be playing music from their debut album LIGHT UP ALL THE BEACONS as part of a regional and national tour. Winners of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards their music is contemporary and orginal they have been applauded and praised by Mike Harding and the like on the folk scene. Jack is a singer and guitarist from Cumbria and Charlie is a fiddle player from Hampshire. The two met whilst studying at the Birmingham Conservatoire where they are both members of Joe Broughton’s (the Albion Band) Conservatoire Folk Ensemble. In May last year the ensemble completed an 11 date tour in which they featured as a duo. Jack and Charlie have played Warwick, Ireby, Fareham, Moseley and Bromyard Folk Festivals and supported the likes of Kirsty McGee, Mat Martin, Dave Swarbrick, Martin Carthy, John Spiers and Jon Boden.
