French pianist, Jacques Loussier, possesses a dazzling technique and sense of nuance that have taken him to world-wide acclaim. From leading his class at the Paris Conservatoire, he made Back swing in the 60's with his cool, sophisticated, spirited interpretations. Loussier's Playing Bach Trio sold over 6 million albums and even provided the classic 'Hamlet' cigar ads sound. His jazz meets Bach, and now Vivaldi and Ravel, approach allows his consummate artistry to enhance the original subtleties of harmony, rhythm, and melody.
