Veneziana - T01621579100The Summer Performance of the Jette Parker Young Artists on the main stage, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, has made a name for itself as an important event at which to spot future stars in a rich showcase of musical and dramatic styles. Singers, conductors, stage director and répétiteurs join to present an afternoon of opera, which this year takes its inspiration from the history, glamour and mystery of Venice. This year’s matinee includes musical extracts from comic to tragic, featuring scenes from Otello, Il signore Bruschino and Bianca e Falliero, and pieces by Donizetti, Offenbach and Britten.
