Low Culture
At the age of 21 Jim Moray was hailed as "the greatest leap forward in folk for 30 years" by The Telegraph. His recent album, Low Culture, defines exactly where English traditional music is at in the early 21st century, weaving together traditional songs with modern popular culture. Jim performs with his full live band, bringing both digital technology and traditional instruments to bear on tales of squires, beautiful young maidens and raggle-taggle gypsies.
