For the past decade John has been one of the most in demand pianists on the British jazz scene. His new quartet is fronted by the fiery tenor sax of Ian Price and plays an engaging mix of well-known and not-so well-known jazz standards, and music by John's long-term friend, the tragically short-lived South African pianist Bheki Mseleku.
