The latest project of pianist/composer John Law sees him, along with his UK bass player, in the company of two crazy Austrian musicians in a project exploring and extending the innovations of Thelonious Monk. Along with vibes virtuoso and composer Flip Philipp and the rhythmic talents of drummer Christian Salfellner they perform a stunning interpretation of classic Thelonious Monk material, as well as a smattering of original compositions.
