Jubilation: The Music of George Benjamin

Join us in this celebration of George Benjamin's music, whose very special qualities justify his position as a leading composer on the world stage. The composer himself will be present as a conductor and speaker. Southbank Centre Resident Orchestras the London Sinfonietta and the Philharmonia Orchestra - both of whom have a strong association with Benjamin - also take part. The weekend includes a performance of George Benjamin's piece Jubilation with a specially formed youth ensemble and choir - the culmination of a period of work focusing on composition and performance with local young people.
