Saxophonist Julian Arguelles is one of the finest players to emerge from that great 1980s generation that created a whole new, original British jazz scene. He was born and bred in the West Midlands and developed his style in the Walsall Youth and Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra before going to live and work in London and then Edinburgh.
