Join Kathryn Tickell, Northumbrian piper and one of traditional music's leading figures, in a journey to explore the various forms and instruments of the pipes, played by their best exponents. She'll be joined by 70 year-old Luigi Lai from Sardinia, young master Anxo Lorenzo from Galicia, Rory Campbell from Scotland and a special guest from Eastern Europe. Playing solo and in groupings, the delicacy, diversity, character and excitement of the pipes will shine through.
