An intimate concert of music with such undeniable integrity that it flows from the innermost wellspring of the human spirit. Their music forms the backdrop to all of the joy, hope and anxiety that we have lived through in recent times. These are songs expose such personal and global fragility. They continue to embrace us as if they were our mothers’ arms. Also included are some rare and never transcribed poetry by both Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen that, with great pain and respect, has been set to music. The evening begins with a bio-documentary on the life and music of Joni Mitchell.
