Award winning flautist, composer and teacher Keith Waithe, originally from Guyana, is the founder and leader of the Macusi Players, a world music jazz band that blends rhythms from the Caribbean, South America, Asia and Africa. He has also worked with Nitin Sawhney and Courtney Pine. Keith mixes many sounds from his collection of over 204 flutes, fusing enigmatic musical forms in performance.

I've got this mad passion for the flute...it's like an extension of me. It's normally a little instrument trying to be heard - I make it big and powerful. I want to share my passion, create absolute fun and break the rules! I've have 126 flutes and use vocal gymnastics. Be open to anything from BAC to the Amazon! Studio
