Production details

Kokoro, in its annual special day-long event, explores the rich diversity of composers based in or associated with the south-west. Tavener, Fitkin, Birtwistle, NcNeff, Lloyd, Deutsch are just some of the composers represented, who will be performed in the afternoon and evening concerts by Kokoto, and other Dorset-based music groups and the chamber choir Canticum. Contemporary sounds will be flooding Lighthouse foyer spaces as young people can create their own music and participating composers will be there in person to discuss their work.
