The Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor Irene Walsh, will host the annual 'Last Night of the Proms' on Sunday 18 April 2010. The event will raise money for her chosen charities: Young Carers (PCVS), Peterborough Samaritans and Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. After the great success of last year’s Proms, the Mayor is delighted to once again welcome local musicians: The Band and Drums of the Royal Anglian Regiment, which is stationed in Peterborough. A prize raffle will be held during the evening.
