Lewis Garland & The Kett Rebellion have been highly acclaimed for their energetic yet intimate performances, the group's folk-tinged sound providing the perfect cradle for Lewis' sharp, often caustic lyrics. Since forming in the dawn of 2006 they have garnered an enthusiastic following, appearing at Glastonbury and The Big Green Gathering as well as supporting the likes of Faustus, Nizlopi, Devon Sproule and Lou Rhodes. The Bellows combine the beauty of Nick Cave's murder ballads, the poetic chaos of Tom Wait's bone machine and the world weary woes of Johnny Cash's rambling characters... This rag tag bunch of instrument swapping musicians stir a swampy cauldron of folk, country and blues.
