A pivotal figure in the early punk rock and pub rock scenes, Nick became famous for songs such as Cruel To Be Kind, I Love The Sound of Breaking Glass and What's So Funny About Peace Love And Understanding? (which was also made into a hit record by Elvis Costello). He remains one of this country's most accomplished songwriters and has seen his songs covered by such legendary artists as Johnny Cash and Tom Petty.
