Matices Latinos is a group dedicated to playing Latin American folk and popular music. They embrace musical traditions of countries such as Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Cuba and have an inclination towards rhythms with a strong African presence. Renowned Latin American musicians Luz Elena Caicedo and Wilmer Sifontes come together in this amazing collaboration to portray both the popular rhythms and the lesser known genres of this rich and diverse continent.
