and the Swing Legend Show - T01973195726Matthew’s first big opportunity came as featured vocalist with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and he soon won wide audience admiration. After a lengthy stay he decided it was time to pursue a solo career and since then he has not looked back. He has attracted great reviews, been voted Big Band Singer of the Year and was Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Award finalist. When not touring with his own show he has performed with the Halle, Liverpool Philharmonic and BBC Concert Orchestras and top Big Bands. On this occasion the spotlight will be very much on Matthew when with a small band of carefully selected musicians he sings great swing hits from the Golden Era of Big Band Music and the fantastic vocalists they accompanied. | |
